Barbara Ann Engle
Barbara Ann Engle, her husband Robert H. McClain, Sr., and their son, Robert H. McClain, Jr., all drowned in the river following an automobile accident on September 21, 1969. The accident was not discovered until the next morning. All are buried at the Mountain Home Baptist Cemetery, Edneyville, Henderson Co., North Carolina. Source: Mary Hicks |
