Thomas Jefferson Laughter (T.J. Laughter, TJ Laughter)
Served in military in WWI. Wounded in the leg in France on 02 Oct 1918. Had no children. He owned a store at "Caddy Corner" and had the first grist mill in town. He owned 80 acres of land in Desoto County after the war and donated some of the land for the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Very thrifty guy.
