Top (Index) of Laughter Tree Pages

The Laughter and Lawter Tree consists of 11 generations, numbered 01 through 11. Generations were established based on the time of John Laughter who came to America about 1630 to 1645. The first five generations are displayed on single HTML pages, one for each generation. To reduce download time, generations 06 through 11 have been broken into three pages for each generation. More about the Family Tree structure:

Page names by generation are "lautree01.html" for the first generation through "lautree11.html" for gen 11. The additional pages within generations have been arbitrarily assigned the designations "m" and "s." Once a generation has been broken into multiple pages, the descendacy lines with that designation, i.e, "m" or "s," are maintained for the remainder of the tree, on through generation 11, or to the last known descendant.

For example: If "Bobby Smith" appears in the third page of generation 06, i.e, lautree06s.html, his descendants will be in the third page of gen 07, lautree07s.html, and on to the third page of gen 08, lautree08s.html, etc., on through generaton 11, or to the last known descendant.

The original structure within each generation has been maintained, i.e, the oldest known head of family for that generation is at the top of the first page and the youngest known head of family for that generation is at the bottom of the last page for that generation, with all other families of that generation in order in between.
